Tanya has handled numerous matters in the state of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Bristol County Bar Advocates, Bristol Probate and Family Court Bar Association, Edward Gallolgy Inns of Court, Rhode Island Women's Bar Association, Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal Bar Committee, and the Attleboro Area Bar Association.
Tanya is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she graduated cum laude and earned two bachelors of science degrees in criminal justice and sociology. Tanya then went on to Suffolk University Law School, and earned her juris doctorate, concentrating in trial and appellate advocacy. As a law student, Tanya was the vice president of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and a public service liaison for the Student Bar Association. Tanya was also a Rule 3:03 student intern for the Committee for Public Counsel Services, Public Defender Division in Fall River, Massachusetts, Law Student Counsel for the Federal Defender's Office in Providence, Rhode Island, and a Rule 9 Attorney for the Rhode Island Public Defender's Office.
In her free time, Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, reading, and staying active.
